Food For Families Drive
One of the three pillars of Lent is giving, and this weekend you have the opportunity to practice this in a big way. The Knights of Columbus will be conducting its Annual Food For Families Drive at all Churches in our Parish this weekend, March 16 & 17. When you give food to this drive you will help local families beat hunger. Please be as generous as you can in support of this worthy cause. Like last year, your donations will be turned over to your local Food Pantry.
If you wish to make your donation in a check form, please make the check out to the Knights of Columbus, or your local food pantry. Please don’t make it out to the Parish of the Holy Eucharist.
We thank you, and so do the families in need of your kind donation.

Big Thank You for the Parish Mission! Amen!
Last week, we hosted the first parish-wide mission that we’ve had in a good long while and it was a great success! Fr. Steven Bell brought the Word and shone a light on both our rich faith as well as the wealth of spirit and talent and energy we have amongst us as a parish. We want to thank all the volunteers and staff and local businesses who worked so hard on helping with food, hospitality, promoting the mission, kitchen prep and cleanup, music, organization, advertising, announcements, transportation, passing out materials, logistics, help with the Masses, hosting Fr. Steve, and most especially your participation in this effort. The parish isn’t a parish without its people, & the mission could not have gone on without you. A great, big, heartfelt thank you goes out to Fr. Steve as well, who now feels like an honorary member of POTHE. We are blessed to have such enthusiasm & support here, let’s keep it up for the rest of Lent & beyond. Amen!
Keep experiencing the Mission!
Were you unable to attend but wish you could have, or would you like to experience the POTHE Parish-wide Mission again? You can! Both the Masses and the Mission Talks were live-streamed on our Facebook page and are still available to view.

Watch even if you don’t have Facebook! Enjoy!

Prayers of a Caregiver
On Self Care
Dear Lord, Eternal Caregiver, help us to discern Your blessings in the smiles of our loved ones with dementia. We thank you for sharing the role of caregiver with us. Help us to grow in Your love through caregiving. When we neglect our own needs, send us Your gentle reminder to care for ourselves, too. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.

Retreat at Marie Joseph Spiritual Center, March 29-31
No matter how big or small the loss, the grieving process that follows raises the question: How is it possible to feel God's loving presence in the agony of grief? This weekend of companionship will attempt to respond to that question through sharing, quiet reflection, and healing experiences of prayer. Cost: $230. More info/to register, call: 284.5671
